Our client was in need of Disaster Recovery, Continuity of Operations, Contingency Planning and Tier III/Tier IV technical lead support for over 16,000 Managed (Managed end–end) and 8000 Basic (Non-Managed) MIS customers with dedicated Internet Access Service.
As a sub contractor, Namtra's support team provided Disaster Recovery, Continuity of Operations, Contingency Planning and Tier III/Tier IV technical lead support for over 16,000 Managed (Managed end–end) and 8000 Basic (Non-Managed) MIS customers with dedicated Internet Access Service. Lead a team for Design, Maintenance and troubleshooting support for customers with Private Line (FT1, T1, FT3, T3, OC-3 and OC-12). Network Design and Management of large WAN's, Project Management, Provisioning, Installation, Troubleshooting, Training, Internet Peering, Technical Writing and Documentation. Additional Responsibilities include trouble-shooting Circuit Issues, CPE including Routers, Smart Jacks, extended DEMARC, CSU/DSUs, Out of Band Dial-in, Firewall based Customers, Hardware Failure, and IOS Software Bugs. Design, Configure and Manage Routing Protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF and troubleshoot routing problems and network infrastructure problem resolution. Perform test and turn up for BGP and HSRP for Fail-Over, Redundancy and Load Sharing on multiple WAN Links.
Provided world-class High Speed Network Design and Architecture support to the financial market clients such as Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and SIAC (NASDAQ). Provided Network Design and Installation support to banking industry clients such as Bank One, First Union National Bank, FleetCapital, Wells Fargo Bank, World Bank Washington DC, Federal Reserve Bank at multiple locations in US, National Bank of Kuwait, NY, Bank Of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and others. Installation and Provisioning of dedicated Private Lines T1/FT1, T3/FT3, OC-3, OC-12, Frame-Relay and ISDN circuits and Multiplexers. Experience with large data networks including ATM (provisioning an ATM network), IP, Ethernet, and a variety of other networking technologies. Troubleshoot Customers WAN links on our clients backbone and coordinate testing, head-to-head testing with any Regional Bell Operating Companies involved. Intrusively test the circuits for breakup or any packet loss. Able to identify and resolve network issues at a high Tier level. Proactively monitored nationwide backbone and customer network connections and coordinate the repair of any or all Customer Premises Equipment. Troubleshoot customer networks both In-band and Out of Band. Provided Technical support to customer networks consisting of Cisco, Bay Networks, and Nortel Routers and Switches. Network performance of layers 2-4, load balancing, analyzing traffic, broadcast controls. BGP load balancing, transit & peer configuring, circuit load balancing and traffic reporting. ASN & IP management and allocation skills. Experience with ISP, network traffic engineering, broadband, and load balancing.
Provided Tier II technical support to our clients customer Best Buy for the INCS service. INCS is a relatively new service developed by our client to provide customers with Integrated Data and Voice over the same T1 line, using the Inverse Multiplexing over ATM (IMA Technology). This technology is designed to support the dynamic sharing of bandwidth among voice, data and IP over the same facility.
Responsible for provisioning and maintenance of Cisco 3660 routers at Best Buy's 400 store locations throughout the US. Introduced new features in the integrated voice and data such as dynamic bandwidth allocation to support up to 24 voice calls simultaneously with burstable Frame Relay, or IP data, up to T1 on a Dual T1 facility. This service effectively extends our clients voice and data networks interface to customer's locations. INCS is an integrated access service utilizing ATM as the transport technology and support Frame Relay and access to most 4ESS voice Services.
CRM Lifecycle ManagementOur client, a Dow 30 company, is a leader in delivering broadband and other communication innovations to wireline and wireless customers. It operates as America's most reliable wireless network, serving 53 million customers nationwide; one of the most expansive wholly-owned global IP networks; and one of the nation's premier wireline networks, serving home, business and wholesale customers. It has a diverse workforce of more than 250,000 and generates annual consolidated operating revenues of approximately $90 billion. They were in need of consulting services on their Enterprise Data Ware house project.
As a prime contractor, Namtra brought in a consultant to provide consulting services to our client on their Enterprise Data Ware house project.
Led and implemented a $25 Million strategic project for our client to identify High Value Customer segments by developing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Solution, which enables the Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to manage customer life cycle from acquisition to retention. Successfully managed a team of 20+ as part of this initiative to deliver the solution on time and within budget.
Implemented the Active Enterprise Data Warehouse (aEDW) at our clients place. This project provided intelligent analysis of the data and creation of smart reports to standardize adjustment data across our clients footprint. Eliminated the need for current Adjustments Data Warehouse (ADW) platform with an annual saving of $1.2 Million.
Managed several complete life-cycle projects for Retail Application Analytics and Metrics (RAAM) team. Performed Project Scope, Risk Analysis and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Prepared Proposals, Resource Plans, Level of Effort (LOE) and Project Financials. Set project milestones for on time delivery.
Proven success in our clients Encore Segment Expansion Planning project, which ensured the identification of all DSL & Dial-up customers as Encore. Set realistic goals, planned, measured and tracked from requirements, system analysis, design and implementation to post-implementation support phases.
